I'm on Wired.com main page!

Holy crap! An interview from a few months ago I gave is now front and center at Wired's website!!!

I'm not the only one, there are a few other comic shop employees, but they chose me for the front page!!!

Update: Downturn

Things are going rather slowly. Since the artist I found didn't work out, I'm trying to make a more rock solid outline and pitch for Wrayth. I also am going to be more firm in pushing my vision on the next artist. Nothing against the one I'm working with, but I'm not really looking for a co-collaborator. I want to tell my story, and I want someone to draw it. Things have slowed considerably. Oh well, if things were easy, nobody would suffer.

First Post

So this is the official blog of Raphael Sooohoo (me) and my attempts at publishing my ideas (The Wraythverse as it's called for now) in the comic industry.

I'm really in the early stages, I just got an artist to talk character design and help me focus my ideas. I have announced a release date for my main character: Wrayth/Michael Tang. Wrayth: The Legend of Michael Tang #1 is set to premiere at the Comic Geek Speak Supershow 2009 on September 12th, 2009.

I would like as many people to enjoy my work. It's very mainstream action, kung-fu superhero stuff, but there is an exploration of mythology mixed in there as well. Entertainment is what I do best and I hope you're entertained.

More updates as things happen.
